Why this company exists
Roughly three-quarters of the fire doors inspected in the UK in recent industry programmes did not meet the required standard. Post-Grenfell legislation — the Fire Safety Act 2021, the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, the Building Safety Act 2022 — has made fire doors a continuing legal duty rather than a one-off purchase. Yet duty-holders still struggle to get three simple things from one supplier: a certified doorset, a certificated installation, and the evidence pack that proves both.
We are building this company to supply exactly that: third-party certified fire doorsets, FD30 to FD120, installed under third-party certification, handed over with complete golden-thread documentation. Supply and installation open soon.
Our transparency policy
The fire door industry has a credibility problem, and we refuse to add to it. So this site follows a rule that is unusual but simple: no claim appears here before it can be verified at its source.
- No founding-year theatre: we are new, and we say so.
- Certificate and scheme registration numbers are published the day they are granted, linked to the scheme's own public register — never before.
- Company registration, VAT and insurance details are published at launch in the site footer.
- Every regulatory statement in our guidance cites the source legislation, and every guide shows when it was last reviewed.
- Every statistic on this site links to its original, public source — if a number cannot be verified, we do not use it.
What is open today
While supply prepares to launch, the knowledge side of the business is fully open:
- The Compliance Hub — sourced, plain-English guides to UK fire door law.
- The Fire Door Compliance Checker — your duties, cited to the regulation.
- The 25-point inspection checklist, the glossary and the sourced statistics reference.
The standard we hold ourselves to
A fire door without documentation is just a door. When we supply, every doorset will arrive with its test evidence, certification, installation records and maintenance requirements — formatted for Regulation 38 handover and golden-thread record-keeping. If that evidence trail ever cannot be produced, the doorset does not ship.
