Fire door cost calculator
A quick estimate from typical 2026 UK market ranges — by door type, supply-only or installed, and quantity. Every figure is sourced, and none of them is a sales quote.
These are typical 2026 UK market ranges, compiled from published cost guides — not a quote from us. Certified Fire Doorsets is pre-launch; we publish our own pricing when we open in 2026. Your actual cost depends on specification, access, making-good and location (London and difficult access push toward the top of each range). See the sourced breakdown in the fire door cost guide, or register your interest for a quote when we launch.
How to read the estimate
A fire door is a certified assembly, not an ordinary internal door, and the labour and evidence that make it compliant are exactly where the fire performance lives. The cheapest quotes often assume the existing frame is reused and no certification evidence is supplied — which is not the same product. When you compare quotes, check: is it a certified doorset, is the frame included, are gaps and firestopping signed off, and what documentation arrives at handover?
For the full sourced breakdown — including inspection costs and the origin and year of every figure — see the fire door cost guide. To understand which rating you actually need, see FD30 vs FD60 and fire door ratings explained.
Frequently asked questions
Are these your prices?
No. Certified Fire Doorsets is pre-launch, so these are typical 2026 UK market ranges compiled from published cost guides, not quotes from us. We publish our own pricing when we open in 2026. The ranges are the same sourced figures set out in our fire door cost guide.
Why is the range so wide?
Because scope varies enormously. The bottom of each range usually assumes a basic leaf, an existing frame reused and no making-good; the top reflects certified doorsets, new frames, glazing, heavier ironmongery and a full evidence pack. Always compare deliverables, not just totals.
What affects where I fall in the range?
Specification (rating, glazing, security), whether the frame is replaced, access and making-good, order volume, and location — London and difficult-access sites push toward the top. Certified supply-and-fit with a handover pack is not the same product as a cheap leaf swap.
Does the estimate include inspection or maintenance?
No — it covers supply and installation only. Professional inspection is typically £3–£12 per door at volume, or £350–£800 for a standard commercial building, per published 2026 guides. See the fire door cost guide for the sourced detail.
